Major League Baseball Predictions

Los Angeles Angels at Toronto Blue Jays predictions
The Los Angeles Angels and the Toronto Blue Jays are in the chasing pack in their respective divisions as well as the wild card race, so they will both be desperate for a win when they meet on Saturday.
The Angels are currently 51-49, eight games back in the AL West. They visit the Blue Jays, who are 6.5 games back in the AL East with a record of 55-45, in an ultra-competitive division in which all teams are at least six games over .500.
Kevin Gausman has been impressive for Toronto, with a top 15 earned run average (ERA) of 3.18 and 162 strikeouts, the second-most of any pitcher in the majors, all while giving up just 29 walks.
For Los Angeles, it’s no surprise that superstar Shohei Ohtani has been their top player.
The Japanese two-way player has held batters to the lowest average in the MLB, 1.95. He also leads the majors in home runs with 36.
His achievements continue to astound and assure that if he is not traded this year, he is set for a huge payday in free agency.
Both teams will be looking for a win to chase down their division leaders in this one.

New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles predictions
The Baltimore Orioles have been a sight to behold in recent weeks, shooting to the top of the AL East with a record of 61-38 at the time of writing.
They host the New York Yankees on Saturday, with the visitors currently 8.5 games back with a record of 53-47.
Gerrit Cole has continued to be a standout for New York, with a 2.78 ERA that ranks third in the majors, along with a 9-2 win-loss record and 144 strikeouts.
Austin Hays has been a key part of supplementing an impressive young core for the Orioles, with a top 15 .296 batting average, along with 24 doubles.
Baltimore will be hoping to maintain their lead at the top of the AL East against the Yankees, who have not had the best of months so far.
Cincinnati Reds at Los Angeles Dodgers predictions
The Los Angeles Dodgers remain at the top of the NL West with a record of 57-41 at the time of writing. On Saturday, they face a Cincinnati Reds team who are in a battle with the Milwaukee Brewers for the top spot in the NL Central.
The Reds are currently just .5 of a game back with a record of 55-46, and have one of the most exciting young teams in baseball.
Outfielder TJ Friedl has been integral to the Reds’ success, with a .292 batting average that is a top 15 figure in the league, along with 16 stolen bases.
The Dodgers have benefited from the power hitting of Freddie Freeman, whose .997 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS) is second only to Shohei Ohtani in the majors.
The former Atlanta Brave also has 20 home runs, and will be key to the Dodgers’ offence if they are to keep the top spot in the NL West.
